My Journey: From System Admin to VP of Cloud

I started my career in 2011 as a System Admin at SmartData. Back then, I had no idea I'd one day be leading cloud architecture for a company. Life wasn't easy—I lost both my parents at a young age and worked while studying to support myself. Those early struggles taught me resilience and the value of hard work.

The Turning Point

In 2016, I made what many thought was a risky decision—I left GlobalLogic, a big MNC, to join HotelKey, a startup in its early days. I had just welcomed a newborn into my family, and leaving the security of an MNC felt like jumping into the unknown.

But I saw an opportunity to dive deeper into AWS and DevOps, and I took it. That decision changed everything. Within a few years, I went from DevOps Lead to Vice President of Cloud, gaining expertise I couldn't have imagined.

Lessons I've Learned

• Invest in Learning: I've never been cheap when it comes to education. Whether it's certifications or new skills, learning is the best investment you can make.
• Take Calculated Risks: Joining HotelKey was a huge risk, but it opened doors I couldn't have imagined. Sometimes you have to bet on yourself.
• Resilience Pays Off: The challenges I faced early in life taught me to keep pushing forward, no matter what. That resilience has been key to my success.
• Surround Yourself with the Right People: I couldn't have done it without my family, mentors, and managers who believed in me.

Today, I'm on a mission to help 100,000 beginners and freshers secure Cloud and DevOps jobs and build successful careers. I know how overwhelming it feels when you're starting out—I've been there. My goal is to make your journey easier by sharing the exact blueprint I used to go from System Admin to VP of Cloud.
